Submerged

As the light of day glistens upon the surface

A grand entry is made but littered with curses

Something pulls hungrily from the living seabed

But the thick and twisted fibres soon loosens its thread

The speckled and soulful expanse, infuses each pore

And as breath leaves the body, it submerges the core
